The Junip Alternative That Gets Your Reviews Everywhere

Junip's clean UX and Klaviyo integration are well-earned. But if you're eyeing Growth or Premium for wider reach, Review Multiplier Pro — launched February 2026 — lets your customers share AI-rewritten reviews across up to 10 platforms in a few clicks, plus Google Merchant Center, for $25/mo — not $79–$299.

The Wall That Every Growing Outdoor Brand Hits

Ridgeline Outfitters sells technical camping and hiking gear to serious adventurers across the US. Casey Drummond, who co-founded the brand out of a Denver garage in 2021, had been on Junip Growth for nearly two years when the cracks started to show — not in Junip's quality, but in the ceiling it imposed.

Junip had done a lot right for Ridgeline. The review widgets looked great on product pages. Klaviyo flows fired automatically after purchase. Customers were leaving solid 4- and 5-star reviews about their ultralight tents and merino base layers. The problem was that those reviews stayed on the Ridgeline storefront and nowhere else.

"We were spending on Google Shopping ads and watching competitors show product-star ratings in their listings while ours were blank," Casey said. "Junip doesn't connect to Google Merchant Center, so all those reviews we'd collected weren't helping our paid search at all."

The logical next step inside Junip was Premium at $299 per month — and even then, GMC integration wasn't in the roadmap. Ridgeline also wanted reviews appearing on Trustpilot, REI supplier pages, and a handful of outdoor-specialist directories. Junip simply had no mechanism to help customers share their reviews there.

The Trigger: Google Merchant Center and 10-Platform Reach

When a fellow DTC founder in Casey's Slack group mentioned Review Multiplier — which launched on the Shopify App Store in February 2026 — Casey dug in. The pitch was straightforward: when a customer leaves a review, Review Multiplier's AI rewrites it into unique, platform-tailored versions and then prompts the customer to post those versions themselves across up to 10 platforms, automatically opening the relevant tabs so the whole process takes a few clicks. Pro at $25 per month unlocked all 10 destinations, including Google Merchant Center.

The maths were immediate. Ridgeline was paying $79 on Junip, plus $18/mo for a loyalty app (points on purchase), plus $22/mo for a post-delivery shipping-tracker that triggered review nudges after confirmed delivery. The review stack alone was $119/mo. Review Multiplier Pro at $25 was a fraction of that — but only if the Klaviyo flows, the loyalty vouchers, and the post-delivery triggers could survive the switch.

Free Onboarding Rebuilt Three Integrations as Custom Code

This is where Review Multiplier's switcher onboarding changed the equation. Rather than leaving Casey to figure out the integration gaps, the onboarding team got on a call, audited the existing stack, and built three bespoke bridges at no extra cost:

  • Klaviyo flow bridge: A lightweight webhook listener that fires Ridgeline's existing Klaviyo review-request sequence when Review Multiplier marks an order as review-eligible. Casey's email timing, segments, and suppression lists stayed intact.
  • Loyalty→voucher bridge: When a customer submits a review, the bridge calls the loyalty app's API to credit points and generates a plain Shopify discount code that gets appended to the review-confirmation email as a thank-you coupon. No native loyalty integration needed.
  • Post-delivery review trigger: The shipping/tracking app emits a delivery webhook; the bridge catches it and tells Review Multiplier to queue that customer for a review request with a 48-hour delay — replicating the "confirmed delivery" timing Ridgeline had relied on.

None of these are features built into Review Multiplier's product. They are custom code, handed to Ridgeline to host in their own infrastructure, documented so the team can maintain them. Casey kept both Junip and Review Multiplier running in parallel for the first four weeks, watching conversion rates on both before cutting over entirely.

The Outcome

In the roughly four months since switching, Ridgeline's Google Shopping listings show product-star ratings for 94% of their catalogue — a direct result of the GMC feed that Review Multiplier Pro powers. Organic clicks on Shopping ads are up, review volume across platforms is up (AI rewriting means a single strong review becomes eight platform-ready posts the customer can publish themselves with RM opening the tabs), and the monthly tool spend on the review stack dropped from $119 to $25.

"I was nervous about losing the Klaviyo integration because our flows had been optimised over two years," Casey said. "The custom bridge they built meant we kept all of that. I didn't have to rebuild anything in Klaviyo — it just worked."

The CSV export from Junip came across cleanly. Onboarding handled the import, historical reviews were live in Review Multiplier within 48 hours, and no review history was lost.

How migration works

Junip does not offer a direct API connector to Review Multiplier. The migration path is straightforward: export your reviews from Junip as a CSV file (Settings → Data Export), then import the file into Review Multiplier using the CSV import tool available on Starter and Pro plans. The free switcher onboarding team walks you through every step and can handle the import on your behalf — most stores are fully migrated within 48 hours with no review history lost.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep my Klaviyo review-request flows when I switch from Junip?
Yes. Review Multiplier's onboarding team builds a free webhook bridge that fires your existing Klaviyo sequences when Review Multiplier marks an order as review-eligible. Your timing rules, segments, and A/B tests stay exactly as they are — you do not need to rebuild anything inside Klaviyo.
Does Review Multiplier connect to Google Merchant Center for product star ratings?
Yes — on the Pro plan ($25/mo). Review Multiplier generates and submits a product reviews feed to Google Merchant Center, which powers star ratings in Google Shopping listings. Junip does not support GMC as of mid-2026.
How do I migrate my Junip reviews to Review Multiplier?
Export your reviews from Junip as a CSV (Settings → Data Export), then import the file into Review Multiplier using the built-in CSV import (Starter and Pro plans). The free switcher onboarding can handle this for you — most imports complete within 48 hours.
Is Review Multiplier cheaper than Junip Growth?
Yes. Review Multiplier Pro is $25/mo versus Junip Growth at $79/mo — a saving of $54/mo ($648/yr). Pro also enables customers to share their rewritten reviews across up to 10 platforms and includes Google Merchant Center, which Junip Growth does not offer.
What happens to loyalty points I give customers for leaving reviews?
Review Multiplier has no native loyalty integration, but the onboarding team builds a free custom bridge that connects your existing loyalty app: when a customer submits a review, the bridge credits their points and sends them a Shopify discount code via the review-confirmation email. No loyalty app swap required.
Can I run Junip and Review Multiplier at the same time during the transition?
Yes — and it's recommended. Run both apps in parallel for two to four weeks. Once you're satisfied with Review Multiplier's collection rate and the customer-led sharing flow, disable Junip's request flows and deactivate the app. This gives you a zero-risk transition with no gap in review collection.
